Privacy Policy

HavenKept ("we," "us") makes interactive digital planners and free browser-based tools. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. It applies to havenkept.com and havenkept.github.io (together, "the Sites").

What happens in our tools stays on your device

Our planners and free tools (calculators, trackers, seating chart makers, and similar) run entirely in your browser. The budgets, names, dates, schedules, and other details you enter are processed on your own device and are not transmitted to us or stored on our servers. If you clear your browser data, that information is gone, and we have no copy of it.

Information we collect

• Email address (optional). Some free tools and freebie pages let you enter your email to receive a downloadable PDF or resource. If you do, we store your email along with which tool or freebie you requested.
• Order information from Etsy. Our planners are sold through Etsy. When you buy one, Etsy shares standard order details with us (such as your name and the item purchased) so we can fulfill your order. Payment is handled entirely by Etsy, so we never see your card details. Etsy's own privacy policy governs your purchase.
• Basic technical logs. Our hosting providers (Hostinger and GitHub Pages) automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We use this only in aggregate, if at all.
• Analytics. We may use a website analytics service (such as Google Analytics) to understand overall traffic: which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

How we use your email

• To send you the freebie or resource you requested.
• To occasionally send updates about new planners, tools, and freebies.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works with one click. We will never sell or rent your email address.

Where your information lives

Email addresses are stored in a secure hosted database (Supabase) and with the email service we use to send messages. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above (hosting, database, email delivery), or if required by law.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any message.
• Access or deletion: email us and we will tell you what we hold about you (usually just your email address) or delete it entirely.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA), you may have additional legal rights to access, correct, or delete your data. We honor such requests from everyone, regardless of location. Just ask.

Cookies

Our tools and planners do not require cookies to function. If analytics is active on a page, the analytics service may set its own cookies to distinguish visits; you can block these with your browser settings or a content blocker without affecting how the Sites work.

Children

The Sites are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

The Sites link to third parties such as Etsy and Pinterest. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only HavenKept.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the Sites.
